Philosophical consultancy is an educational activity that helps clients negotiate life issues typically discussed with counselors belonging to the traditon of psychology or psychotherapy. This tradition is preceeded by 2500 years when in ancient Greece philosophy was a practice which is encapsulated in the famous words of Socrates "the unexamined life is not worth living". Today philosophical practitioners facilitate conversation in the spirit of the ancient Greeks to better understand themselves in this world and cultivate enriching, meaningful lives.
