This website is a placeholder for my business. Think of it as a dynamic business card. Here potential customers can learn about Sententia's (formerly EnRoute) services and the latest projects I'm involved in that relate to my continued commitment to philosophical practice and philosophical counseling more particularly.
As with teaching, practitioners of philosophy, and philosophical consultants more particularly, are life-long learners who are both engaged in meta-philosophical discourse about our practice as well as our original areas of concentration, e
specially where these intersect with our practice. My particular research interests are focused on issues of knowledge acquisition (epistemology), the cultivation of understanding through dialogue and the methodological underpinnig of such activities. Intertwined with these interests is the relevance and grounding of morality, and how the cultivation of solicitous moral pespectives can be implemented in a thoughtful manner to enrich human life, consistent with the ancient Greek rendering of human happiness (eudaimonia) as floushing or well-being.
Unlike this website, my blog, is a dynamic and interactive forum which both introduces Sententia (formerly EnRoute) and myself, but is mostly interested in sharing my thoughts on the practice, my philosophical orientation and papers. It is a go-to place for those who want to also learn a little bit more, and maybe participate too!, about the philosophical discussion we practitioners are having about our philosophical practice - this is why it is a meta-philosophical discussion.
